Outstanding face sculpts and a cleaner silhouette than the older release: a hinged head joint, a curved neck, a better-matched skin tone and a tidier waist. Faces swap both ways with the old figure.

Why it made the shelf

  • Six faces, including a superb obsessive expression
  • Skin tone now matches face and body
  • Lightning-wrapped sword and a more dynamic Chidori
  • Adjustable rear scabbard mount

Worth knowing

  • Accessory mix doesn't fit this story look (no black-flame effects)
  • Fixed collar limits looking down
  • Slightly oily-looking finish; full blade won't fit the scabbard

In the box (as shown in the review)

  • 6 faces (incl. bonus Naruto face)
  • Chidori effect
  • Lightning sword
  • Regular sword + scabbard
  • Rear scabbard mount
  • Fists, gesture, sword-grip, face-cover and seal hands

Articulation

Works well overall; forward kick just past 90°.

Malco's verdict

“The faces alone make him worth it.”
