Rocky skin against a dark-purple cowl, jagged shoulder spikes and a bat ear still half-wrapped in the cowl. Towers over the other Dark Knights, with firm knees that hold the weight.

Why it made the shelf

  • Beautiful texture: dark armor against realistic stone
  • Soft-plastic shoulder rocks on small ball joints
  • Chest and abdomen do a solid job for a figure this bulky
  • Roaring head with glossy mouth; rocky diorama piece

Worth knowing

  • Overly tight joints; thigh swivel is very stiff
  • Limited forward shoulder travel
  • Kryptonite blade reads like paint; a rock came unglued on the review sample

In the box (as shown in the review)

  • 2 heads
  • Interchangeable hands (incl. spiked)
  • Kryptonite blade hand
  • Rocky diorama piece
  • Display stand

Articulation

Pretty good overall; tight joints make posing less smooth.

Malco's verdict

“Second in the reviewer's ranking of the line, for its presence.”
