Metallic armor, crisp paint and a lean, sharp sculpt capture Lancer's confident swagger. The moving ponytail adds motion to action poses, and the slim costume lets the joints do their job.

Why it made the shelf

  • Metallic armor and a beautiful metallic-red spear
  • Four expressions: calm, open mouth, playful, excited
  • Moving ponytail; arms meet little obstruction

Worth knowing

  • Limited head range; wrist pieces can fall off
  • Very tight upper-arm swivel; odd look at the lower-leg limit
  • Loose copies may come with different faces — check condition

In the box (as shown in the review)

  • Spear
  • 4 face plates
  • 5 pairs of hands

Articulation

Felt like a step forward for its time; still fun to pose.

Malco's verdict

“Still looks fantastic; a figure to watch for a good deal.”
